Our new NFT dApp is soon to be released so in preparation for such an important event here’s a short tutorial explaining all the key aspects regarding our own NFTs. Users will be able to create their own variations and make them available for others.
Understanding YELD NFTs
We’re releasing a new dApp for purchasing limited-edition card NFTs. Each card can be purchased exclusively with YELD tokens on the Ethereum network.
Each card gives you a passive APY, meaning you earn YELD just by holding your NFTs! Each NFT is it’s own profit-making machine. The earnings come from other card purchases since a portion of the payment is distributed to other holders.
Note that when you buy a card, half of the YELD paid is locked forever inside that card. Meaning the supply of available YELD is reduced, further increasing its deflatory nature.
We’ve worked hard at creating this new type of NFT cards. Plus, given the reduction in gas prices and ETH value drop it should be cheaper now that ever to interact with the Ethereum blockchain, so it’s an excellent time to release our new dApp.
Continue reading to see the different types of NFTs you’ll find in our dApp. There are 4 types of cards:
Common cards
These types of NFTs cost the lowest at 1 YELD per common card, an excellent entry price for smaller YELD holders. You’ll generate an average APY based on other card purchases. The more cards are purchased after yours, the more profit you’ll make.
The initial estimated APY will be 1460% per year and is expected to drop over time so the earlier buyers get the largest profits.
There are 6 variations of common cards and a total of 1000 cards per variation will be distributed.
Rare cards
They cost 10 YELD and will have a starting estimated variable APY of 14600% per year, which is calculated based on an average of card purchased per day.
There will be 4 variations of rare cards and there will be 300 copies of each variation for sale for a total of 1200 rare cards.
Ultra rare
Only two variations of ultra rare cards will be available. They cost 100 YELD each and only 100 copies of each will be available.
The starting estimated variable APY will be 146000% APY per card purchased.
Premium cards
These are the most exclusive and limited YELD NFTs. Only 2 types will be available costing 400 YELD each with a total of 10 copies per type.
No more premium cards of this type will be created, meaning they are truly exclusive!
The estimated initial variable APY will be 584000% per year per copy. This is probably the highest APY ever seen in DeFi, however it won’t stay that long since new purchases reduce new cards’ APY.
That’s why it’s recommended to buy cards earlier to benefit from a higher profit-making opportunity.
Potential YELD NFT use cases
Not only your cards will be generating a passive APY per card and be tradable on marketplaces such as open sea, but they will potentially be used as liquidity for YELD’s CDL loans dApp so you generate more profit from staking your cards.
Alternatively they may be also used as playable cards for a new YELD decentralized card game for users that wish to use their cards for bets and other alternative entertaining methods.
As you know, YELD is a community project, therefore these are just 2 potential uses cases that the community will decide on to determine which is more interesting from an NFT holder perspective and which one should be prioritized. The more utility NFTs have the better.
